A day spent at the lake, is a day lived to it's fullest. Today was one of those days. I spent the day on my uncle's boat with my aunt & uncle, and cousins. We only went ashore to rescue a poor lamb that was caught in the mud.
We got "Chops" out of the mud and carried her up the beach a little ways, and left her with a pile of grass to regain her strength. I felt bad for her. She was exhausted a looking really worn down. But hopefully she made it out alright and doesn't run into any trouble tonight.
We spent the rest of the day on the water. I went knee-boarding a couple times. It was so much fun.
It was super great. We stopped for lunch. And I don't think there is anything better than sitting out on the lake, eating your lunch and listening to some tunes on the big speakers. That really is my own kind of paradise. After lunch, we all jumped in the lake and played some catch with a football.
I came home looking a little sunburned, but oh so happy. :)
