Sorry I haven't posted in so long. I've tried to start a few times but haven't ever had time to finish a post. So I'm going to tell you some of the things I've been up to this semester.
First post that I never finished was about a boy in my ward. This boy moved in in January and every single girl in my ward (including myself) is madly in love with him. He's amazing in every way imaginable. Anyway so one day out of no where my little sister sends me a txt saying that I should marry him. I about died. I asked her if I'd told her about him before & she said no. She had just been creeping on Facebook. Which makes it even better. Proves the fact that he is amazing. I mean who else can make people fall in love them them just over Facebook?
Next post I never finished...janalie trying to flood our kitchen. Ok now this really was the funniest thing of my whole life. Tyler owed Rachel a diet coke and he wanted to bring it over to surprise her but she was over at Katelyn's apt. So we were put in charge of getting her home and we only had so much time b/c Tyler needed to be somewhere. So we went over to Kate's and casually chatted but we could tell Rachel was really annoyed so we left. But before we went I asked when she was going to come home b/c I needed help with accounting homework. She was grumpy and said she would be awhile. So we came up with the idea to tell her that the dishwasher was overflowing. She wouldn't come when janalie txtd her so I called her and begged her to come home to help us b/c we couldn't get it to stop. The best part was that I stead of just telling her it was flooding, janalie decided we needed to make it believable.so she dumped a ton of water on the floor and Tyler dumped a bunch of dawn soap in the dishwasher to make bubbles. So when Rachel got home janalie was on the floor mopping up the water and absolutely of laughter. It was hilarious. It was the most random thing ever.
Next great thing was a mustache party at my neighbor's apt. It was their birthday so for the party they had a bunch of Mexican food and piñatas and everyone had to have a mustache. If you came without a mustache, they painted one on you. After we hung out there for a while we went and hung the piñatas off the balcony and everyone took turns hitting it. Then we watched nacho libre. I don't think I've seen the whole thing before so I was laughing so hard. When everyone else was just chuckling I was busting a gut. It was real Quite funny.
then a couple weeks ago jade and I watched the rescuers down under with Spencer. That was so fun. I love that movie and I definitely got in touch with my inner child. I laughed so hard at the movie mostly Joanna. Then the other day Sophie and I watched an American tale and it made me want to watch all of the movies from my childhood. So that's what I'm doing this week on spring break, watching all the movies from my childhood.
I still love my internship. There are always so many Fun people around. Right now I'm working on meeting with all of the program directors to get an overview of their programs. It's good but slightly difficult b/c with 20 some directors it's hard to track them all down to meet with each of them I'm making some new friends there though. There's a kid named Trent who works in The office next door and we have a class together. He comes over to the service center a lot and we are getting to be good buddies. He's a funny kid. I like him.
On a different note, I've been getting lots of letters lately. There's my usual from Ryan and then I've got a couple from tanner and I got one from Harry's companion that I still need to translate and reply to. I also got a letter from Sophia's friend Elder Rousseau and a letter from Brandon Taylor just before I came home for spring break. Oh, also I didn't get a letter from saylor but if you get a chance go read his latest post on his blog. It's amazing. I wish all missionaries had that type of attitude. But anyway, so I have a lot of letters to write this week. Yay for letters. I love them.
And in case anyone really cares, there are no real or potential love interests on my life at the moment. I've been way too busy to think about boys this semester.
