Laying on the grass outside the library to enjoy the sunshine can always make me smile.
What a fantastic weekend. Saturday I worked at the football game, which consumed my whole afternoon. But it was alright b/c I was working the student gate w/ this Brazilian kid, and he was so hilarious. Except he was really shallow, which led me to question the possibility that because I love shallow people, I am therefore shallow. I hope not, but who knows. That's kinda like how I'm paranoid now about being a one-uper, but I don't know if I am or not. Anyway... Saturday night I was supposed to go to a corn maze with Kevin. But nobody showed up. So instead I played a Domination w/ him, Steven, and their old roommate Andrew. Domination was surprisingly fun. I thought I was doing so great and winning, but it turns out everyone else was kicking my trash and I just didn't realize it b/c they didn't call their moves out loud like I did. Then I convinced them to do a donut run. Then we came home and they watched Tron, and I took a nap on the couch. When I woke up I stayed and talked for a little while, then just before I was going to leave, Hannah came bursting in to report on the date she'd just had. So I stuck around b/c it's been forever and a half since I've got to talk about a date. The next morning Janalie asked me if I had come home at 3:30 in the morning, because at 3:30 I asked her if I could turn my light on so I could take my shoes off. So I did, but she thought I had just barely gotten home, so she wondered why I didn't change into my pajamas. The curse of Kelsey sleep-talking strikes again. I thought it was hilarious. Then last night Jake came over to try making raspberry cookies. Personally I thought they tasted like Fig-Newtons and disgusting. But his roommates and friend liked them, so I guess they weren't terrible. Then I asked him to help me figure out how to do my HTML assignment b/c I didn't have a clue what I was doing. So he taught me how to do it, and now I owe him big time. I didn't mean for it to take so long, but he stayed all night helping me with it. When we finally got to a good stopping point we went to the Garth's birthday party. But seriously...Jake just saved my skin in that class.Thank goodness for such great friends.
