Today I'm moving beyond just smiling. Apparently you can tell when I have something really funny to say but I'm trying to restrain myself from smiling until I actually get to say it, because I get "shifty eyes".
So today Jashley sent me to get a soda from the vending machine outside the store, but halfway there I saw that it was out of order, so I turned around. And when I got in the car Jashley said she knew I had something really funny to say b/c I had shifty eyes. Then we laughed forever, and we've been cracking "shifty eye" jokes ever since.
Now that I've told you that story...HAPPY LATE THANKSGIVING!!! I hope you all enjoyed it. I've rather enjoyed the holiday and getting to be home with my family. The day before Thanksgiving I went to visit my cousin the chiropractor. I love visiting him, I always leave feeling so much better. :) Thanksgiving was of course divine. We all pitched in and helped make dinner. And even though I had seconds on some of the food, let the record show that I did clean off my entire plate. I had to send a picture to Spencer to brag a little bit. But of course there's never time for a nap. Immediately after lunch we had to go get started making Christmas gifts. Then we went to my cousin Jacob's court of honor for his Eagle Scout award. It was actually a nice little ceremony, and it made me think back to getting my YW Recognition award, and some of the regrets I have there. But I'll spare you those details. I sure do like Jacob, and I really am proud of him. After the ceremony we all went down to the HS gym and played games for a couple hours. I won't go into details, but let's just say Dahl's family totally massacred us at 5-star kickball.
Today I worked on homework for a few hours, then I played the piano for my sister and niece to sing along. Then I went uptown to run some errands. I talked to Julie Erickson for a few minutes, then I ran into Aisli and her boyfriend (which was so interesting to me) at ACE when I was looking at all the wedding announcements that I've missed w/o facebook. Holy snaws, I can't believe some of the people who are getting married. I have been way too out of the loop. Now I obviously don't have anything better to do than blog. So I hope you all are having a nice life. Happy Holidays everybody!!!
