Sharing Christmas with my nieces and nephews makes me smile.
Merry Christmas to everybody!!! It's been a fantastic week. I got to enjoy having my apartment to myself. At all the games I worked at last week, I worked down in the tunnels by the locker rooms. It was really fun, I got to hang out with the basketball players while they warmed up and while they celebrated their victory. The Kent State players were super arrogant and profane, but I liked the Texas Arlington boys were really cool. They won their game by 2 points in the last 3 seconds, so they were all super excited and happy after the game. Some of them were just hanging out in the tunnel celebrating and they were really funny. It's official, the tunnels are my new favorite place to work at. Thursday morning I packed up and came home. I made it all the way home safe, but then I ran off the road on the second to last corner of my parent's road and got stuck. I had to call Cortney to come dig me out. And bless the souls of my neighbors who saw me sitting out on the corner and came to help me out.
Christmas was fun this year b/c I had my nieces and nephews home, so we got them all excited about Santa coming and stuff. Ali woke me up at 2:30 to look at presents, then we got up at 5:30 to open presents. It was so fun to see them so excited. I got a pair of Cowgirl boots that I love so much, and some jewelry, clothes and some other misc. stuff. My family and I sang a song in Sacrament meeting. It was a hard song to put together b/c the parts that would naturally be split up as yours/mine etc. had differing ranges, so we all had to trade off who was singing with who at what parts. But it actually came together really nicely...I think. I at least thought it turned out significantly better than I originally expected it to. That night we went to visit my grandma, and she was in a really good mood, so it was a nice trip. It was a really nice Christmas.
Last night I had a weird dream. It was all over the place, and I don't even know what it was about. But I do remember that it involved everyone and their dog that I know in Logan. It was a little weird. This afternoon I took my nieces and nephews to play on the snowmobiles in the field. It was really fun. They're all so different, but Ali is my favorite to ride with b/c we have the same opinion about speed. Faster is better!!!!! So the two of us make a great pair. I can't believe I've already been home for 4 days though. It does not even seem like it's been that long. Weird.
